Children also build imaginative and wide area, and this is very important for children’s mental development and regardless of the existence of endless fun in the paper craft ideas for children.

Origami

Origami is also important in teaching symmetry; for many of the folds, whatever is done to one side is done to the other.

In addition, paper-folding allows students to create and manipulate basic geometric shapes such as squares, rectangles, and triangles. Origami also develops fine motor skills and imagination.

Global Citizenship

Global citizenship is the idea that all people have rights and civic responsibilities that come with being a place. The idea is that one’s identity transcends geography or political borders and that responsibilities or rights are derived from membership in a broader class: “humanity”. This does not mean that such a person denounces or waives their nationality or other, more local identities, but such identities are given “second place” to their membership in a global community.

The mission of Our Global Kids is to expose students to a broad array of global diversity found in people, traditions, and the environment around the world. We aim to increase our student’s understanding of the impact of global transitions on our local and national communities.
